Dublin National Bank in Dublin, located about halfway between Abilene and Fort Worth, is being purchased by BOH Holdings, based in Houston. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
The deal is subject to regulatory approval, as well as approval by the Dublin National Bank shareholders.
BOH expects to add banking operations in Houston upon the deal’s completion, which is anticipated to occur during the second quarter.
Dublin National Bank had $29.5 million in assets as of the end of 2017, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data. It operates one branch in Erath County, ranked fifth with a 4.63 percent share of approximately $583.4 million in total market deposits. BOH Holdings operates as a bank holding company for Bank of Houston.
The company was founded in 2008 and, as of April 2014, BOH Holdings operates as a subsidiary of Independent Bank Group Inc., which is based in McKinney.
